Think of the color, fossils and veins. Polished natural stone or marble requires regular maintenance and can be polished again after a few years to keep the top looking as good as new.
MatteHoned marble or natural stone gives the top a matte appearance. Honing is the last step of the sanding process and is done with a very fine grain. Honed natural stone has a more matt appearance than polished natural stone and therefore wear and tear is less visible.
