Bankruptcy Update

New owner:

Den B.V. has completed a takeover of the assets of Aime Té, following the bankruptcy of Marmerentafels B.V. in December 2023.

Aime Té is well known throughout the Netherlands and Europe for it’s modern, stylish furniture and specialism in marble tables. DEN is known for its focus on classically inspired furniture design, customer experience and high build quality.

With a close fit between the product range and customer base of the companies, the acquisition will accelerate DEN’s mission to ‘bring home inspiration’ to even more customers. A robust financial foundation and strong focus on customer experience, mean the newly expanded DEN brand is well positioned to deliver over the longer term. The DEN team are excited to get to know Aime Té’s customers and tackle any outstanding issues from the bankruptcy.

We empathise with customers who has been impacted by the collapse of Marmerentafels B.V. Although DEN hasn’t taken over Aime Té’s trading business or it’s order book, we believe that where possible, promises should be kept. DEN has therefore committed to make a credit offer to all former Aime Té customers, who didn’t receive their order.
